Rennie Pearson & Lúan
Rennie Pearson and Lúan perform tunes, songs and stories from Ireland, Scotland and beyond, alongside original compositions. With wooden flute, bouzouki, whistles, fiddle, bodhrán and voices, their finely crafted concerts weave a tapestry of music, stories, humor and history that takes the audience on a wild journey.
Rennie Pearson is a multi-instrumentalist, singer and composer from New Zealand whose music is deeply rooted in the traditions of Ireland, Scotland and Maritime Canada. Performing on wooden flute, whistles, fiddle, guitar and bodhrán, he blends storytelling with the music to craft an enchanting performance which has connected with audiences all over the world.
Lúan is a Galway-based folk musician who brings together traditional influences with a background in rock and metal. A bouzouki player and singer, he performs in both English and Irish, drawing on a repertoire of lesser-known folk songs and tunes shaped by years on the Galway trad and folk circuit.
Hermitage Green
After a wonderful opening Folk Night in Kinsale featuring The Fynches and Culture Kid, organisers (Bainne Dubh) are delighted to keep the momentum going with the announcement of Hermitage Green live at St Catherine’s on June 12th 2026.
The first event set a warm and intimate tone for the series, celebrating the very best of contemporary and traditional folk music. Hermitage Green’s arrival to the beautiful St Catherine’s setting promises another memorable evening filled with rich harmonies, vibrant instrumentation, and the uplifting live energy the band are known for.
Formed in Limerick, Hermitage Green are celebrating 15 years together and have built a loyal following across Ireland and beyond with their distinctive folk-influenced sound. Their Kinsale show offers a special opportunity to experience one of Ireland’s most loved live acts up close.
Folk Nights are part of the journey toward a future Kinsale Folk Festival, helping to grow a strong local folk community and bring special live music moments to the town.

Freddie White
Freddie White has long been synonymous with music of the highest quality. He has been part of the fabric of the live music scene in Ireland since the 1970’s and his albums continue to sell well, amongst his loyal and newfound fan base.

Freddie moved to Sydney, Australia in March 2011 but continued to tour Ireland and the UK regularly. He then resided in New York City for several years and has now returned to Ireland. Freddie’s performances will feature new songs along with his classics from his 40-year career as a principal in the orchestra of Irish folk and rock music.

Alas this is not an option so as he looks his forties firmly in the face he has hatched a new plan. To live his life vicariously through his seven-year-old son Harvey. What possibly could go wrong?!?
Pull Hard is a brand-new stand-up comedy show that deals with fatherhood and middle age and the lingering disappointment of lost opportunity. The hour is seasoned with tales of GAA matches, failed diets and expensive babysitters. Above all it’s a show about hope and endeavour.
