Where History Meets Community: A Cultural Haven in the Heart of Kinsale

A Timeless Landmark in Kinsale

The former St. Catherine’s church at Ardbrack stands as a beautifully preserved testament to Kinsale's rich heritage.

From Sacred Space to Cultural Centre

When this stunning church became surplus to the needs of the Church of Ireland, a dedicated group of friends from diverse backgrounds and traditions came together with a shared vision. They raised the funds to purchase this historic building and established St Catherine’s Cultural Centre Kinsale CLG, a registered charity committed to preserving and sharing this architectural gem.

Guardians of Heritage and Tradition

Through careful refurbishment, we've transformed this sacred space into a vibrant cultural, community, historical and events centre—a gift to the people of Kinsale and Ireland in perpetuity.

Breathing Life into History

Our venue whispers tales of Kinsale's fascinating past while seamlessly blending captivating architectural details with modern amenities. Every corner tells a story of the town's rich cultural heritage, creating an inspiring backdrop for gatherings, celebrations, and cultural events.

Where Community and Culture Converge

At St Catherine’s Cultural Centre, history lives on through community, and tradition and finds new expression in every event we host.
